The latest meeting of the Council took place in the Village Hall on the 11th. March and as it was the last in the current financial year and only one more meeting will be held before the election of a new Council, every effort was made to ensure that outstanding work had been completed.
Elections: It has been confirmed that elections for Shropshire Council and all the Parishes within the County area will be held on Thursday May 1st.when all current Members have to leave their Council and stand for election, if they wish to continue to serve.
Attempts have failed to get Shropshire Council to improve and up-date the mandatory warning signs on the A53 entering Shawbury from the direction of Shrewsbury because of lack of funds.
